1. INTRODUCTION
Tohu Wallet is a self-custody mobile application that enables users to securely manage digital tokens on the Tohu Network blockchain. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and protect your privacy.
Important: Tohu Wallet collects zero personal data. Your privacy and security are our highest priority.

2. DATA WE COLLECT
Tohu Wallet collects zero personal data. We do not collect:

Email addresses or names
Phone numbers or contact information
Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or serial numbers
Location data or IP addresses
Analytics, usage data, or telemetry
Crash reports or error logs
Transaction history or wallet balances (except what you see locally on your device)
Camera images or recordings

The app is designed to operate entirely locally on your device with no data transmission to Mahutonga Media Limited or affiliated services.

3. CAMERA PERMISSION
Tohu Wallet requests camera access for the following purpose only:

QR Code Scanning: The camera is used solely to scan QR codes containing wallet addresses or transaction data for your convenience.

Important privacy notes about camera usage:

No images or video are captured, stored, or transmitted
Camera data is processed in real-time on your device only
QR code data is used immediately and not retained
We never access your camera for any other purpose
You can deny camera permission and manually enter wallet addresses instead

4. HOW TOHU WALLET WORKS (LOCAL OPERATION)
All critical operations happen on your device:

Private Key Storage: Your private keys are encrypted and stored only on your device using your device’s secure storage system
Transaction Signing: All transactions are signed locally on your device before being broadcast
Local Data: Wallet addresses, balances, and transaction history are stored only on your device
No Remote Access: Mahutonga Media Limited never has access to your private keys, wallet addresses, or transaction history

5. TOHU NETWORK GOVERNANCE & VOTING
Tohu Network governance allows token holders to vote on proposals affecting the network. Voting is secured entirely on-chain:

On-Chain Voting: All governance votes are recorded directly on the Tohu Network blockchain
Double-Voting Prevention: The smart contract prevents any wallet from voting more than once on the same proposal
No Data Collection: We collect no personal data to administer voting—the blockchain itself ensures integrity
Public & Transparent: All votes are permanently recorded on the public ledger and cannot be altered or deleted
Your Responsibility: You are responsible for securing your wallet and recovery phrase to protect your voting rights

6. TOHU NETWORK BLOCKCHAIN TRANSPARENCY
When you use Tohu Wallet, you’re interacting with the Tohu Network, a public blockchain. You should understand:

Transaction Visibility: All transactions on the Tohu Network are permanent and publicly visible on the blockchain ledger
Wallet Address Exposure: When you send a transaction or vote, your wallet address appears on the public ledger
No Anonymity from Blockchain: Once a transaction is broadcast, it cannot be made private or deleted
No Personal Identification: The blockchain shows only your wallet address, not your name or identity—unless you voluntarily associate your address with personal information

7. NETWORK COMMUNICATION (RPC & EXPLORER ENDPOINTS)
Tohu Wallet communicates with two public Tohu Network services to function:
Block Explorer (https://explorer.tohu.network/)

Used to retrieve your wallet balance and transaction history
A public service operated by the Tohu Network community

RPC Endpoint (https://tohu.network/rpc/)

Used to broadcast signed transactions to the Tohu Network
A public service operated by the Tohu Network community

Important Privacy Notes:

These are public endpoints. Operators may see your IP address as a natural part of network communication
IP address alone does not identify you personally
We do not log or store IP addresses on our servers
If you require additional privacy, you can configure Tohu Wallet to use your own private RPC endpoint or run your own Tohu Network node

8. SECURITY & PRIVATE KEY MANAGEMENT
Your private keys are protected as follows:

Encryption: Private keys are encrypted using your device’s secure storage and your chosen password or PIN
No Transmission: Your private keys are never sent over the internet or to any server
Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for protecting your device and keeping your password secure
Recovery Phrase: You must securely back up your recovery phrase (seed phrase). Loss of this phrase means permanent loss of access to your funds
Device Loss: If your device is lost, stolen, or damaged, Mahutonga Media Limited cannot recover your funds

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Tohu Wallet does not integrate with third-party analytics, crash reporting, or monitoring services.

No Google Analytics, Firebase, Sentry, or similar tools
No advertising networks or tracking libraries
No data sharing with external companies

The app may include open-source libraries as part of the AlphaWallet fork. These libraries operate locally on your device and do not transmit data.

10. USER RESPONSIBILITIES & DISCLAIMERS
You are responsible for:

Protecting your device from unauthorized access
Securing your recovery phrase and storing it safely offline
Verifying wallet addresses before sending transactions
Understanding blockchain technology and its risks

We are not responsible for:

Lost or stolen digital tokens due to compromised devices
Forgotten passwords or lost recovery phrases
Transactions sent to incorrect addresses (blockchain transactions cannot be reversed)
Price volatility or market risks of digital tokens
Bugs, hacks, or technical failures (though we work to prevent them)

Digital tokens carry inherent risks:

Irreversible transactions (blockchain transactions cannot be undone)
Price volatility (token value can change rapidly)
Security risks (if your device or recovery phrase is compromised, funds are lost permanently)
Technical risks (software bugs, network issues, or hardware failures)

11. AGE REQUIREMENT
Tohu Wallet is intended for users aged 13 and older. By using this app, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and understand the risks of managing digital tokens.
